Too much information.

A One Day Summer Vacation

Hawksbury is a city maybe two or three hours west of Montreal. It’s in Ontario. Where I went, we had no running water or electricity, so the land was basically a campsite owned by my uncle. It was still a lot of fun. I spent the entire day down on the shore, fishing with my brother. I’m glad someone finally introduced me into the ‘laziest sport on Earth’, because it’s a lot of fun. I caught eight fish, all Perch except one Sunfish, and my brother caught a nice Bass and a Perch. We let them all go after we caught them, as they were all too small to eat. The Bass my uncle caught was at least a foot long, though, but as we couldn’t catch any more, we released it too.

The normally beautiful countryside is even more so at night. Standing on one of the rolling hills of Hawksbury, staring up at the stars and the far off lights of a city, is absolutely breathtaking. I truly did enjoy myself, and got to wish my uncle a happy 65th birthday, too. I have some pictures, but they’re all on my father’s camera, so I’ll have to wait for them to be given to me before I stick them here.

There ya go, Kevin, I finally updated.

Entry… ah the hell with it.

Well, I officially passed Sec III. That’s Grade 9 to all you non-Québecers out there. Got a 92% on the final French exam, and a 75% on the English one. Does anyone else see something wrong with this picture?

Started playing Clone Campaigns again, and a friend of mine got me into Dawn of War. Space Marines <3.

It’s now the third week of summer holiday for me, and I’ve been looking for a job, but so far, no luck. People ’round where I live are reluctant to hire a 15-year-old, and the lawn mowing buisiness isn’t going so well. I also refuse to mow the lawns of seperatists, of which there are a lot out here.

StarCraft 2 was announced, and that brought a lot of joy to my house. I wrote an article at http://www.plasmafire.org about it. Speaking of PFO, Mr Lin hasn’t been on much. I find that odd since it’s summer.

Relax, PF.

Wow. It has been a while since I last posted anything. Things are summed up with me not being grounded anymore since I got my report card, my SC skills improving slightly, and I’ve been reading a lot lately.

Max Brooks’ Zombie Survival Guide and WWZ, and a few books by Tom Clancy. Politika and the Sum of all Fears. Rambo III, too, though it made a better movie. 😛

Epic movie came out a few days ago, and I’m itching to go see it. I have as much chance of seeing it as dung has of taking over the world, though, since the parents are against it. Still, you never know when it’ll come out on DVD, and a friend of mine will have it.

In short, life is good, school is mediocre as usual, and I’m in the middle of a four day weekend. (Huzzah for pedagogical days!) I’m having a mate over tomorrow, we’re gonna go over a tiny bit of schoolwork, (:P) and he’s going to show me BF2142, which he bought yesterday.

It’s time to sign off, my dog wants me to take him out to play with him. Cheers!

Stuff happened. And I haven’t told you all about it. 😦

This is third week I’ve been spending me lunches at the weight room, pumping some serious iron. *flexes* Between whooping at www.StarEdit.net being back up, and playing SC, there hasn’t been much going on. I did write a short SC ficcy, which you can find on my DA account, www.deviantrye.deviantart.com, under the title “Sharpshooter”. It’s also on StarCraft.org, if you care to take the time to search for it.

My buddy PF3K’s site is getting revamped. New CMS, Xaraya, is replacing Mambo. I’ve been reading the instruction manual in preparation for my new position as [TOP SECRET], and man… that manual’s HUGE. 160 pages, 20+ of ’em dedicated to pronounciation of the damn name, and “special thanks”. Fascinating read.

The old site is here: www.oldsite.plasmafire.org
Main site (under construction): www.plasmafire.org
And the forums: www.comm.plasmafire.org

*sigh* It’s late, and I’m bushed. Homework has relentlessy knocked the stuffing out of me, and weight-lifting hasn’t helped. I have time to eat, shower, and MAYBE do some pushups before I doze off. But of course, I must tell you about my day. Well, I discussed the future of a friend’s website, helped another friend create an IRC channel (#imperialists, on irc.bungie.org), got angry at some brat who picks on my little brother, and surfed the endless void we call the Web.

Not really interesting, I know. So sue me. Oh wait, YOU CAN’T. THERE’S NO LIDIGATION LAW IN CANADA. HA.

On a more serious note, my literary inspiration strikes again, and I’m caught between either writing an SC fic, or figuring out how a weapon in SC works.

Meh, I’ll work it out… tomorrow…
